Agency RelationshipLaScala Luxury Travel is an independent affiliate of McCabe World Travel and a proud member of Virtuoso®. We act solely as a travel advisor and intermediary, coordinating arrangements with third-party suppliers such as destination management companies, hotels, airlines, cruise lines, tour operators, and transportation providers. Payments, including deposits and final balances, are made directly to the supplier unless otherwise stated in advance. Because these services are provided by independent suppliers, LaScala Luxury Travel does not own, operate, or control the travel products or services you book. You understand and agree that LaScala Luxury Travel is not liable for any loss, injury, accident, delay, act of negligence, omission, or irregularity caused by any supplier or entity responsible for delivering travel services.
Professional Planning FeesLaScala Luxury Travel provides personalized planning, research, and coordination for every trip. A professional, non-refundable planning fee may be required before itinerary design begins.
This fee is discussed during your initial complimentary consultation and may vary based on the scope of your trip. It is collected prior to beginning any planning work, is not applied to the cost of the trip, is non-transferable, and requires a signed Planning Fee Agreement. Should your trip parameters change, an additional fee may apply. Ticketing or hourly service fees, when applicable, are invoiced monthly and must be paid in full prior to travel.
Outstanding balances may be charged to the card on file. Pricing and availability are only guaranteed at the time payment is made. Foreign currency quotes may fluctuate, and international transaction fees may apply.
Cancellation FeesIf you choose to cancel your trip after planning has begun, LaScala Luxury Travel reserves the right to charge a $350 cancellation fee. This fee is separate from any supplier cancellation penalties or non-refundable costs.
Travel Document DeliveryAll travel documents are provided through email, our mobile app, and a private digital itinerary webpage. Physical mailing of documents may be arranged upon request, with additional fees applicable depending on timing and delivery requirements.
Pricing and CurrencyAll travel components, including hotels, flights, tours, and cruises, are priced in the currency of the supplier. While we may provide estimated U.S. dollar equivalents, LaScala Luxury Travel is not responsible for currency fluctuations. Prices and availability are not guaranteed until booked or ticketed, and may change due to supplier adjustments, delays in client approval, or external factors. LaScala Luxury Travel is not responsible for lost availability or price increases that result from delays in client responses.
Packaged Itineraries and GroundOperator Pricing:When booking packaged itineraries through our trusted ground operators, also known as DMCs or on-sites, pricing is presented as a total package. Itemized breakdowns are not provided due to confidential contracted supplier rates.
Airfare and TicketingLaScala Luxury Travel may use trusted air partners to assist with airfare research and ticketing, for which a $100 per-person service fee may apply. Airfares, taxes, baggage fees, seat assignments, and fuel surcharges may change until tickets are issued. Airlines may adjust flight schedules at any time prior to departure. LaScala Luxury Travel is not responsible for changes or disruptions caused by the airline. Clients may also book their own flights and provide us with confirmed schedules.
Travel InsuranceTravel involves inherent risks. We strongly encourage clients to purchase comprehensive travel insurance. LaScala Luxury Travel works with reputable travel insurance providers and will provide quotes upon request or at the time of deposit. Questions regarding coverage, claims, or policy details must be directed to the insurance provider. By declining insurance, you acknowledge that you have been informed of its availability and are choosing to assume the risks associated with traveling without coverage.
Force MajeureLaScala Luxury Travel is not responsible for losses, expenses, or delays resulting from events beyond our control, including severe weather, natural disasters, acts of war or terrorism, political unrest, public health events, strikes or labor disputes, mechanical failures, or wildlife disruptions.
Any costs incurred due to such circumstances are the responsibility of the traveler.
Passport, Visa, and Travel Documentation RequirementsTravelers are responsible for ensuring they meet all entry, exit, and identification requirements for their destinations. These requirements may include a valid passport, visas, vaccinations, and government-issued identification that complies with TSA or DHS standards. Copies of each traveler's passport and driver's license must be provided before booking international travel to ensure accurate information is used for flights, cruises, hotels, and tours. LaScala Luxury Travel is not responsible for denied boarding, refused entry, or fees resulting from incorrect documentation, expired passports, visa denials, misspelled names, or delayed submission of traveler information.
Health and SafetyClients are responsible for understanding any health requirements associated with travel and should consult with their healthcare provider regarding medical readiness, vaccinations, or travel restrictions. Any required vaccines or medical services must be obtained at the traveler's expense. LaScala Luxury Travel is not liable for costs or disruptions arising from health issues, missing vaccinations, or traveler medical conditions.
Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Governing LawLaScala Luxury Travel's liability for any claim arising out of or related to our services is limited to the amount paid by the client for our planning services. Under no circumstances shall LaScala Luxury Travel be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, or special damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, lost travel opportunities, or emotional distress.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless LaScala Luxury Travel, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, costs, or expenses, including attorney's fees, arising out of or related to your travel arrangements, acts, or omissions.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Fulton County, Georgia, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
Amendments to TermsLaScala Luxury Travel reserves the right to update or revise these Terms and Conditions at any time. The most current version will always be available on our website.
